Dr. Kelly graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Integrated Physiology. She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions and emphasizes manual therapy including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization/manipulations, and dry needling in combination with exercise and home exercise programs to assist in the healing process. She believes in the importance of patient education regarding pain in order to empower her patients toward functional independence. Ergonomic training is also an area that Dr. Kelly emphasizes in her practice, as she enjoys teaching patients that their habits outside the clinic make a tremendous impact on their recovery. Dr. Kelly is an Iowa native, but is thrilled to be in Colorado and a member of Fit Physical Therapy's team. She enjoys taking full advantage of the active Colorado lifestyle with her husband, Brian and dog, Ruby including running, swing dancing, playing volleyball, and hiking.
